Cold Ride at Washington Park

A very cold Sunday morning ride at Washington Park in Avon. It was 9 degrees when I started riding and warmed up to whopping 12 by the time I was done. The only tracks in the fresh snow were mine.

Saturday Morning Ride

I had a good ride saturday morning, the riding was excellent. There was a few wet spots on the road,but still had excellent grip.

2 Wheels

2 Wheels, Much more fun than climbing. I like climbing but going fast on 2 wheels is much more exciting. I have climbed for 28 years and have been riding for 40 years. I dug up this old photo from 84, airborne on a 84 vf1ooo interceptor. The other shot was taken in 85 at a WERA national sprint race . I was racing a fj1100 in A Superbike.

My good old friend Jason and I hit the rocks saturday. The weather was outstanding! It was is his first trip out in a very long time. We went to the Hideout and another new area. It was a great time!

5star Choss

It seems like every climbing site pokes fun at thought of any good rock in Indiana. I have bouldered all over the country, and this stuff is not bad! There are some gems scattered around in that choss, and the worst ticks on the planet!! winter time only. A guide would ruin it.

New Years day ride

I did a nice mtb ride with my good friends, Jason and Jeff. We rode some obscure fire roads in south central Indiana. There were some killer climbs on this ride. The weather was light snow, high winds and temps in the low 20s. It was great ride to start the new year off.
